Real Steps to Build Undip, Non ASN Permanent Employee Candidates (CPTU) Batch 10 Present Innovative Change Projects

UNDIP, Semarang (16/4) – Diponegoro University through the Directorate of Human Resources organized a series of Pemaparan Proyek Perubahan activities in Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Dasar (Diklatsar) for Calon Pegawai Tetap Undip (CPTU) Non ASN Batch 10. This activity took place for two days, from April 15 to 16, 2025, in 11 locations within Diponegoro University.

This activity is one of the important stages in the Diklatsar process that must be followed by the CPTU before being appointed as permanent employees. In this session, 110 participants presented the results of the change projects they had compiled in front of 11 assessors from Diponegoro University.

Each participant is given about 10-15 minutes to deliver a presentation followed by questions and answers for about 10-15 minutes. The change project submitted must reflect the contribution and innovation of participants in supporting the progress of their respective work units, and become part of the final assessment of participants’ graduation in the Diklatsar program.

Although many participants admitted that they were nervous and felt nervous when presenting to the assessors, the whole activity went smoothly and orderly. They realized that this was a part of learning and reflection for the participants to increase their capacity, think innovatively, and contribute significantly to the development of the institution. With the end of this presentation session, it is hoped that the participants can continue to implement the change projects that have been designed, as well as foster the character of professional employees who are ready to support the vision and mission of Diponegoro University in the future.

Prepare Lecturers to Become Superior Trainers, UNDIP Holds Certified Training of Trainers (ToT) Training

UNDIP, Semarang (17/4) – In order to improve the competence of lecturers as facilitators and trainers of students in academic and non-academic fields, Diponegoro University through the Directorate of Human Resources organizes Training of Trainers (ToT) Training and Certification activities for lecturers at Diponegoro University in 2025.

This activity is a series of trainings that began online on April 15, 2025, followed by offline training on April 16 and 17, 2025 at the 4th Floor Meeting Room UPT Library Diponegoro University, and closed with a certification process through online assessment.

The activity was officially opened by the Vice Rector III for Human Resources, Information Technology, Law, and Organization, Prof. Dr. Adian Fatchur Rochim, S.T., M.T. In his speech, Prof. Adian conveyed the importance of increasing the capacity of lecturers in their dual role as educators and trainers, who are able to inspire and guide students to develop holistically.

The ToT participants were representatives of lecturers from each faculty and school in Diponegoro University. During the two-day training, 30 participants received briefings from professional speakers from the ESQ Leadership Center. The materials presented included General Learning Principles, Learning Design Roadmap, Session Plan Framework (RPP), Group Practice – RPP, use of learning media and e-learning, and effective communication techniques through the concept of Power of 3V (verbal, visual, vocal). In addition, participants were also trained in the skills of opening and closing techniques in teaching, as well as practicing microteaching to hone their ability to deliver material directly.

The activity took place interactively and enthusiastically. The participants were very enthusiastic about participating in the entire series of training, both online and offline, as a form of commitment to become competent, qualified trainers, and ready to contribute to improving the quality of education at Diponegoro University. Through this ToT program, it is hoped that lecturer trainers will be born who are able to assist students with approaches that are effective, inspiring, and relevant to the challenges of higher education in the modern era.
